Functional Foods For Health:
Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Functional Foods for Life program offers evidence-based education on six key functional foods—berries, vegetables, chocolate, coffee, mushrooms, and tea—that have been linked to chronic disease prevention. It provides adult learners with science-based programs that include presentations, taste-testing, and practical guidance. The curriculum empowers participants to make informed dietary choices by highlighting the health-promoting properties of these “foods with function.”
