Mary Cummings started working for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Gloucester County in March 1999. She holds A.A.S degrees in Horticulture and Agribusiness from SUNY Agricultural and Technical College at Morrisville. She also received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Education from the Pennsylvania State University. Mary's responsibilities at Rutgers include organizing the Master Gardener and Home Horticulture programs, and working to educate the general public on natural resource issues. Prior to her position at Rutgers, Mary was employed as a high School agriculture teacher at Salem High School and as a horticulture teacher at Pineland Learning Center in Rosenhayn. She has participated in vegetable research trials and has written article for the Courier Post and the Gloucester County Gardeners Journal.
