Family & Community Health Sciences
Rutgers Cooperative Research & Extension's programs in family and community health sciences (FCHS) extend and apply useful and practical research-based information to enable individuals and families to make informed choices and acquire needed skills to enhance the quality of their lives and their communities.
FCHS programs are frequently presented in collaboration with local agencies, groups and organizations. Our programs are designed to teach county residents the everyday skills they need to improve their lives and build stronger, healthier families.
We offer a variety of educational programs to county residents. Most programs are offered free-of-charge, or for a nominal donation.
